I cannot imagine that anyone, much less an educated person, would believe that tree roots would “protect” the ruins beneath!!! I’m calling BS!!! One of the reasons they’re still in tact is because they were buried in dirt and NO vegetation around or above them. I’m not an archeologist, but I have critical thinking skills and can say they’ve been safe for this long I’m sure they’re protected.
