An overview of the tempr tool - a visualization tool for temporal log analysis

tempr is a tool to aid in temporal analysis visualization. It helps to highlight potential trends in the data, but then allows you to select (on the fly and in real time) which log events to merge together and visualize. The merging helps highlight trends which are motivated by human intuition, therefore is more likely to result in groups of actions that have meaning/can be labeled when combined (as opposed to when a computer clusters items).
