Here's a big drought tolerant and colorful tree. Birds and bees love this native of Australia, which can reach 90 feet (30 meters) tall.

I hope people overseas can enjoy this tree. It's blooming in Australia at the moment, and the masses of orange flowers dotting across the suburban skyline is always delightful

These grow all throughout LaHabra Heights including its Golf Course. Silvery leaves in winter are a treat to look upon, blossoms in Spring a tarnished golden mixed with yellow. I love the look of this tree! As you approach the pinnacle of fullerton road at Dorothea a backyard across from Dorothia has 4 visible from the road!! Lahabra Heights Oasis, , don't let others know such an area exists!🏖🏜🏝

It would be nice if you included the growing zones of the species in you vids

Is this suitable for street side nature strip planting? Can it damage sewer pipes?

It’s also the main root stock for a lot of grafted grevillea species and cultivars as some species are hard to grow outside their native habitat whereas the silky oak is known for growing anywhere from the outback to gutters
