4:23 My absolute favorite part of any of Mick Gordon's incredible list of songs. Everything about this is literally perfect, the heavy offbeat drums, the wailing guitars mixed with the orchestral and then the chanting chorus in second part of the chorus... its just... wow. I loved Micks work on every other track he did for KI, but this song is the one that really put him into the list of legendary producers for me.

Polemos, Shaterhail, Warlord and Village of Whispers are my favorite songs on the soundtrack. They are all just epic in scale

This is one of my favourite songs in this soundtrack. It just evokes such a strong, visceral reaction in me. When I hear this, I'm transported to a battlefield in ancient Greece. Thousands of soldiers line up to face their foes in battle, clashing their spears against their shields and chanting this song as they advance. Then the sound of steel on steel, the screams and shouts of those killing and dying, the fields running red with blood. A shape appears, a giant shadow that casts itself over the battlefield. The golem strides forward, this ancient engine of war, wielding its terrible club and crushing underfoot those that dare stand in its way. It strikes fear into the hearts of its enemies, and they run away in terror. And as they flee, they can hear the soldiers' voices chasing them, and the golem following behind...
