I am a Native American. Coahuiltecan to be specific. I have been an ambassador between my nation and the Diné (Navajo People) nation for years now. I have sat up in ceremonies from the border of Mexico to the mountains of New Mexico. I have seen the stars on a crisp mountain night, and heard coyotes in the distance in the Mexico desert.

I have lived this life of passion and pride for years, and have yet to find a really good song that fits that passion, but Mick, you nailed it.

I am very sorrowful to hear what happened to you with the Doom team, but let it be known, you are an *amazing* artist and never forget that.

You do all nations proud sir.

Blessings to you.

I don't know what's more impressive: the song itself, or the fact that all the words and instruments are the exact ones used in the tribe Thunder is from. Definitely a step up from the first theme. Bravissimo.

"I shall henceforth call you Chief, as a sign of great respect to your people."

"Thank you sergeant!"

As a Native American of the Blackfoot Tribe I approve this track. The Great Spirit has blessed you with the talent to make amazing soundtracks Mick Gordon.

Thunder used to be such a caricature.  His new design plus this phenomenal theme make him someone to be proud of.

What I learned from this character and this theme: If you're going to write about a culture that's not your own, research the hell out of it. You'll get good results.

Never noticed this until now, but the pipes melody is basically the KI theme at a slower tempo... amazing how well it fits in. Great work Mick :)

I'm a part of the standing rock reservation of North Dakota, I'm partially a Lakotan speaker and I'm half Native American, when my now deceased culture teacher Earl Bullhead heard this, he said it was outstanding and was like a blessing came true, this was when i was in the 5th grade, i showed this to other Lakotan's, they were astonished and mesmerized, anyway, thanks for making this song Mick Gordon, you help me bring back memories

Hey Mick, I don't know if you'll ever read this, but I just want to say that the music you brought to KI was phenomenal. You're what tipped it from a good game to a fantastic game for me, and I'm going to sorely miss you for season 3. I can only hope your replacement has an iota of your talent.

I didn't think it was possible to blend Native American with rock music, but then Mick Gordon happened.

Oh my god... the riff change right after the break around 3:37, and how the chanting vocals mend with it; I'm actually tearing up here...

Mick Gordon, one of the few people who is actually able to make an 8 string sound good and not just Djent.

Also Mick please, you're not supposed to make players emotional during a fight. This theme is way to much for mah feels to handle.

I'm a Native American and I have to say Mick, thank you for your fantastic talent for composing music.

Normally, I don't like Native characters in games since they always are treated like stereotypes but that happens in any fighting game. Nightwolf never synced with me and T. Hawk makes me gag.

But you went beyond just making a generic track. I just wondered what kind of experience it was when you recorded this.

Again, I love the music and your worth ethic. I am excited to see what more projects you make in the future. :-)

Something cool about this theme is an indy pro wrestler, Hania the Howling Huntress, uses this as her entrance music and I almost immediately pointed it out.

This is the kind of song that makes me want to stand in a storm and roar to the sky.
