It's great to be able to watch Dr Peterson's lectures from his Toronto University days, he packs so much into them. Always a pleasure to listen to. Thanks for sharing your lectures with a wider audience.

Am I the only one who thinks I’ve reached exactly what I needed to know to move on to the next big step, but then the whole paradigm shifts and I start feeling differently and then it’s back to watching more videos with more answers to guide me and help me with my abstract existence and motivations.

You are so correct, we can't just pick and choose from the train of taught of thinkers, dismiss what we havent read/understood/agreed with and then think we have any clue what the sum of the thinkers contribution is. Thank you. You are a gem!

He's so animated because he loves the subject matter. When I get similarly excited by anything, no one cares and it is extremely disheartening. I am made happy simply by seeing how much he enjoys the topic and the fact that no one cares to give me the same courtesy breaks my heart a little more each day. Professors also don't get constantly interrupted before they can finish a thought, the way I am.

This is so engaging. I’ve had thoughts around these subjects, but never had words for them. I love learning this stuff. I feel slight anxiety, maybe because I’ve been set in my ways for so long. I’m 35. I want to go back to school. Thank you for posting these on YouTube for people who can’t access a great education.

the most fascinating thing about this lecture to me is to recognize how much input a professor can give in just 80 minutes. Unfortunately that seems to be a rather rare phenomenon. Awesome lecture ! So thankful for that..and the most craziest part of all?? It is free ?!?

Wow, never seen Prof. be so hyper in a lecture! So nice to see!! This and 2016 lecture is best on Piaget! But i saw 4 of them 2014 through to 2016 and now i get the grasp of it! Remarkable how Professor gets so so deep with the subject! All together, it makes the subject that much more wholesome.

He looks so joyous in these older lectures, before SJWs made him famous but also more serious. That's the only positive thing they did - bring Dr. Peterson to the light of the world.

I actually got up from bed where I was watching from to check if this was playing at 1, 25x speed! He's unusually hyperactive in this lecture.

This lecture series has so far been an astounding experience. It's spurring and feeding a revelation in me, in my life as I start to understand a little more. Deeply grateful this is all free. Thank you

1:09:15 Its insane how a child's brain with no comprehension of such deep representations of life can ponder up these cultural concepts without them themselves even being able to understand it... it's like it was built into them or passed down by genetics, very interesting.

He definitely found his purpose in life, I've never seen such a good teacher in all my life 😮😊👏

The difference between ''tickle baby'' and ''play with baby'' reminded me a lot of Schopenhauers philosophy: He also said that the brain, or what he called ''Der Intellekt'', is mostly responsible for the abstract things, like to determine in which way to go, but the action comes actually from the body, or what he called ''Wille''. Thats why plants also can kind of ''move'', without having a consciousness. The brain is in fact a kind of parasite, only there to see new motives, towards ''Der Wille'' (body) can then move to.

Or at least thats how i understood it when i read it a couple of years ago.
Schopenhauer is a very underrated philosopher in my opinion.

Fascinating lecture. One observation: the notion of dissipative structures around minute 26 is due to Ilya Prigogine, not Schrodinger.

I think this 2014 series is the best one of the personalities. Anyone agree?
