Your comments about pedal adjustment around the 31 minute mark are spot on. I ended up needing to add a simlab pedal base plate slider system to get around the issue.

The inner pedal plate holder bar can be turned 180 degrees which will give you an additional inch of pedal distance without moving anything else!

I just put one of these side mount editions together. I ended up getting the ers-1 seat, but to install it in a way that's adjustable, I discarded the seat slide pieces, mounted the seat frames directly to the frame, and used the seat slider cross bars to attach to the seat mount frame. Just fyi, if you have a bottom-mount seat and want some adjustment options, you'll have to do something similar to get it mounted.

Excellent review again.
I can confirm that the slanted beams holding the steering wheel mount creates a huge hassle when trying to find the ideal sitting position, especially when the pedal beams are also attached to it. As you say, changing any one of seat position, steering wheel height or pedal position generally means having to adjust the other two.
In the situation you demonstrated with the pedals in the formula position, as mentioned in a previous comment, the vertical pedal arms don’t need to be in between the two cross supports. Additionally, flipping one or both of the cross beams also not only changes the position of the indents, but also the location of the slot where you bolt the pedals onto. Experimenting with this may help you achieve your ideal pedal position.
I think it’s a good solid rig, with lots of adjustability, but just a little frustrating and fiddly to achieve that ideal sitting position.

I just ordered this rig for my first one. I didn’t want to cheap out and have to upgrade in the future. My FGT Elite 160 comes in Wednesday 😎😎 My Logitech Pro comes in today 🔥🔥 I’m too excited.

Holy Cow! I just set up 2 Bass shakers under front pedal platform and under seat...they really make racing fun and will nake tou a better driver!! With Simhub, you can feel the slip and traction from the tires and helps you from going thru corners! A must DIY if you has a rig!

In the review you said there are some adjustability limitations with taller people like yourself (6'), I want to add that it's probably also the case for shorter people like me (5'6") from my experience with F-GT Elite. Mainly because I can't get the pedals close enough to me without moving the seat closer, which then gets the wheel too close to my chest because of the slanted pillars, in the end, I have to recline the seat a lot. It completely defeats the purpose of having a convertible rig because I can only use it in a more formula-style sitting position.

For the pedals, pretty sure you could just double up the profile at the bottom and mount the brackets on the outside.

Resellers are grabbing all the cockpits, no top end profile cockpits available to buy directly from the manufacturer. No NLR, Simlab, ect

This was an excellent in depth reveiw...it actually help me make up my mind between this and the Alpine Rig...can't beat a stiff 80/20 rig

One major problem that I notice but no one mentions in their review, is that the side bracket is too short. You can only mount a break and a shifter side by side, assuming they are narrow enough, , but I prefer to set them up inline with the break behind the shifter. I don't like this limitation at all and it's a bit of a deal breaker. It's a major flaw in the posts being slanted instead of straight and you loose too much room in the side bracket unnecessarily.
