In the realm of self development, creative visualisation and manifestation meditations are a powerful tool for working directly with the undercurrent of our subconscious mind. Creative visualisation involves using the imagination to condition your mind towards the achievement of certain goals or a rewiring of ingrained beliefs and attitudes. The best time for creative visualisation and manifestation meditations is during a time of mental rest, away from other activities which demand too much conscious attention. THETA and ALPHA brainwave states are perfect for aiding with the generation of mental imagery, ensuring less resistance as these images pass through to the storehouse of your subconscious. It is here where the beliefs we have about ourselves and the world around us are kept. These include our strengths, weaknesses, limitations as they are perceived, and what it is about you and your environment you believe to be true or false. By purposely setting aside the time to visualise we can become authors of our own perceived reality.

::INSTRUCTIONS::

Set aside 20 minutes or so when you know you won't be distracted.. A good time to listen is before bed. Set your volume to a comfortably low level.

1) Get comfortable: Sit or lie down comfortably, close your eyes and relax all of the muscle groups in your body. Empty your mind by focusing on your breath.

2) Imagine: The second step of the creative visualization process is imagining your intended outcome. Imagine your ideal reality as if experiencing it in the present moment. Bring the pictures to life as if watching a film screening.... make the colours brighter and indulge all your other senses. Be creative! Also make use of positive affirmations, using the present tense, or presenting them in the form of a question ("Why is it that i'm so wealthy?", "How did I come to be so confident?")

3) Feel. This part is important... You must really feel what it would feel like if you already had that which you have mentally pictured. Use your emotions to bring your mental movie to life!

Consistent use of this technique can be very powerful!

One advantage of using this particular track repeatedly is that the mental imagery will become 'anchored' to the music, so that every time you revisit this session, the imagery will become stronger, more vivid and as a result, more ingrained into your psychological makeup.
