One of my favorite spoilers I’ve gotten for the show was looking up the character of Keyleth on the wiki and seeing “Cause of Death: Performed a reckless swan dive off a 1000 foot cliff.”

That's the sign for the rest of the party to quickly disabuse them of that notion

I just watched this a few days ago for the first time. Everyone had epic deaths fighting giant monsters or dragons and Keilith misjudged a cliff dive and panicked into a goldfish.
Then Travis repeated what Matt said, "There are too many dice to roll, Marisha."

This and the campaign 2 version where She chooses to jump when she could have just been levitated down are 2 of the best things I've seen. Can't wait for the campaign 3 version of jumping of a cliff

Sometimes I have this sneaky feeling that Marisha lowkey wanted to die, since she was the only one who hadn't died yet in that campaign - and then I think back to any DnD game I've ever played in and think "nah, this is fine"

I love how they had flying brooms, and the druid could have turned into a bird, but nope! Cliffdive as a goldfish.

I would like everyone to take a moment to appreciate that Taryon Darrington was the hero that day. So…yeah.

Just imagine the resurrection ritual that they probably would’ve had to do, if Vex/Laura didn’t roll high on her Wisdom check with the coin.

The funny thing is, and Matt even mentioned this in a Talks episode, she would have survived this because fall damage caps at 10d6 unless you want to homebrew it, but Matt completely forgot in the moment.
