So brilliant and Judy Holliday was a very smart cookie. Love the black and white films, an incredible film

What a great scene. They were both so over the top yet completely believable.

I remember seeing this film as a kid and being fascinated by her, particularly in this scene. She wasn't being 'pretty' she was being funny. Wonderful

This is one of the best and funniest scenes I've ever seen. It never gets old. Both actors are geniuses. The whole movie is wonderful.

We are all so captivated by Judy's brilliant performance that little is said of the genius of Broderick Crawford..two of the best comedic performances on film. Just awesome.

This was the scene that got her the Oscar for me. Vulnerable, funny and oh so sweet.

This is wild. This woman was basically the origin seed for most of Madonna in the 80’s. From the first album, True Blue, Breathless. She said she was also the inspiration for Susan’s character in Desperately Seeking Susan. Not to mention Nikki Finn from Who’s That Girl. All rooted in this. I love Madonna (and Judy).

If anyone ever tells you that it was a travesty that she won the Best Actress Oscar over Bette Davis in All About Eve and Gloria Swanson in Sunset Boulevard, just direct him/her to this scene. Pure brilliance.

According to the inflation calculator, $55.60 in 1950 is now $703.90.

I love this scene, whenever they play this scene on an old talk show or on a documentary about the history of Hollywood(that's where I first saw it)I always stop and smile and laugh. The movie was BORN YESTERDAY that's where I developed my crush on JUDY HOLIDAY. R.I.PJudy, in my opinion, you were the cutest snowbunny in history, cuter than Marilyn.❤

The "BA BOOM"s are bad enough, but then she starts with the "Ta ta ta ta ta ta ta"s that would drive anybody crazy! 😂 I downloaded 2 different versions of the song though, I already liked it from "Bringing Up Baby"

Origin of Harley Quinn's voice right here.

To be honest, Bille Dawn never really came across as that dumb to me. I honestly felt like Harry was really the dumb one. Bille is at least smart enough to beat him at gin. It reminds me of a quote by Albert Einstein: “Everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”

Watching Harley Quinn and Joker right here. Just waiting for her to call him Mr. J.
