Since Donald Trump's inauguration, the U.S. stock market has lost $4 trillion dollars in value. During Donald Trump's first term, he presided over the worst economy since 1946. He claimed U.S. GDP would reach 6%. It reached 2.9% then negative 3.4%. The unemployment rate reached the highest level since the Great Depression. The national debt increased 40.43%.

Of course the Democrats must stand up to Trump. The Democrats should have insisted on concessions from the Republicans and not given the GOP everything they wanted.
But where was this outrage on Election Day, when it mattered?

Both parties play in the same parks. What I don't understand about American politics is that so many think tanks / thought leaders don't fight to break the two party monopoly.

Where would the Democrats be without Chuck Schumer's connections to the Wall Street donor class? Chuck's responsible for picking the next cycle's Senate candidates and was responsible for elevating Dick Durbin to Chair of Judiciary over Sheldon Whitehouse. Chuck has played an important role in the complete take over of the American democracy by billionaire oligarchs. Credit where credit is due.
