Iida Shoten, while an excellent ramen shop, does not have a Michelin star. The only two Michelin starred ramen spots are in Tokyo. And while they have had instant ramen from one of those shops in 7-11 in the past, I haven’t seen it recently.

Can I ask you a question, here in America, ramen is always tooo salty, and the noodles are bigger which is fine but they have a taste to them that isn’t your typical “ramen cup noodle” taste which is fine but the flavor of the noodle itself is not like any noodle I’ve had before and it had a pungent aftertaste. Maybe not too noticeable for you since you’ve eaten at many ramen noodle shops by now! But does it taste like that in Japan too! Is the broth too salty ?
