It looks like the table is already being set such that Cincinnati, even if undefeated, will not be allowed to participate in the playoff. When power 5 teams win by 5 touchdowns over creampuffs, they don't lose spots in the rankings, but the Bearcats did after their win.

If Cincinnati goes undefeated, and that is a big if, of course, there really is no legitimate reason to keep them out of the playoff (unless the Pac 12, SEC, B1G, and Big 12 ALL have undefeated champions (which is unlikely).

ND should be happy about being dropped out of the top 10. They lost too much talent on the offensive line to the pros and now injuries have hurt NDs chances of being relevant for very long this season.

Yet another top 25 ranking that is hard to understand. These ranking moves are based off pre-season rankings…. How did the Ducks jump to number 5? Doesn’t that win say more about Ohio State being overrated than it does Oregon being top 5 good? How is Oklahoma still in the top 5, has anyone watched their games? How is Texas A&M still in the top 10? How are Notre Dame, Miami, and Arkansas on this list? There’s not 20 teams in the nation better than Arkansas today? Miami is ranked higher than Michigan? Based on what exactly? Most of these rankings are a joke. Anyone who has watched more than 15 minutes of college football in their life could do a better job. Joke.
