FOX Sports’ lead college football analyst Joel Klatt reveals 10 games that will shape the upcoming season. He begins with a couple early-season non-conference games that will give either the Big Ten or SEC an early edge in the battle for extra spots in the 12-team Playoff. Klatt also considers the potential ramifications when Coach Prime takes on Matt Rhule and Nebraska in September. Along with non-conference games, there are powerhouse matchups in the SEC like Kalen DeBoer’s first meeting with Kirby Smart and Georgia’s trip to Austin. He also lays out an under-the-radar SEC team that is set up to potentially sneak into the Conference Championship Game. Klatt also lists Big Ten games that will alter the trajectory of teams like Ohio State, Oregon and Penn State then discusses the potential fallout from the outcome of 2024 edition of “The Game” between Michigan and the Buckeyes.

Klatt wraps up the show with an announcement about the premiere of the 2nd season of the Big Noon Conversations series.

"It was an epic day of college football" every time I hear that my happiness increases.

As an Ohio state fan, I’m a bit bias but Ohio state vs Oregon feels like one of the most important games of the year for sure.

Lots of games to anticipate, but The Buckeyes visiting the Ducks seems like a great one.

Michigan vs oregon is another that is potentially just as big.

Basically the 3 headed monster of mich, oregon, and ohio state. They all play each other which is pretty crazy.

Making Penn State vs Ohio State a big noon game absolutely ruins it. That should be a night game for the White Out. TV ratings should not trump better games.

Biggest game not played: Michigan - Penn State

I’m so excited for Georgia @ Texas. I think that game could be a game of the century level game that also determines the Heisman Trophy. Just NFL talent all over the field, and it’s not every day you see Georgia play in Darrel K. Royal Stadium. Sark’s offense vs Kirby’s defense, Ewers vs Beck, new up and coming SEC arrival in Texas vs solidified SEC juggernaut in Georgia. Can’t wait.

No mention of any OU games is wild. They have one of the toughest schedules in the nation and depending on who they beat could shake up the SEC like crazy.

I love me some Joel knowledge. In my 76 years he's the best I've ever had the pleasure to listen to.

I'm a Texas fan and I have no illusions at ALL about rolling into Ann Arbor and coming out with anything resembling a comfortable win. We have a lot of questions to answer on the d-line and I'm not warm and fuzzy about our secondary either. Michigan did lose a lot, but they have talent and a good culture. That game will be a dogfight.

Ohio State traveling to Autzen Stadium to play Oregon is my game of the season. This could be Oregon's statement game. With a win it puts them at the top of the rankings. With a Big10 title they receive a first-round bye in playoffs. This really could be their year to finally win a National Title.

I’m sure it was on purpose,
But for real the best part of that intro, and maybe the best part of everyday I listen, is hearing monsoir Klatt say “it was an epic day” perfectly in sync with the music!
Like c’mon man!
To clean!

27:53 Ohio State roster is actually really insane and I say that as a Penn State fan.

I don't think Michigan or Alabama are going to 'fall off' like people are hoping and expecting.

I’m looking very much forward to Big Noon conversations, I learned a ton from last year and hope that Wazzu is good enough someday to get one .
