the fact that she escaped and crawled up that hill is a testament to her will to live, what ever demons she went through she found the courage to fight that on the brink of death and told herself she would survive. One hell of a determination.

Being a local this story is only a couple of days old. That means that HeavyD pretty much dropped everything to get the car out of that ravine. I am glad to see that the family is taken care of.

I dug a little deeper and found out she was 64yrs old at the time. 64! So she had tumbled/flipped down a 300ft ravine, stayed in her car for 5 days (probably with no food or water), with broken ribs and a broken sternum, took two days to climb up the 300ft ravine, and then was found by a biker at just the right time. God was absolutely watching over her, she has a longer life to live❤️ she is definitely a strong woman.

It’s amazing she survived. Obviously she was meant to stay for a reason. I hope she recovers and finds peace in life.

As a disabled Veteran this story hits home, 22 veterans take their lives every day. If your suffering from depression get help please. Twenty-four years ago my brother took his life. The hurt it causes even to this day for my family is too hard to explain. Don't be ashamed to ask for help.

The human spirit never ceases to amaze me when faced with great adversity. This 64yr old woman should have not survived this crash let alone staying alive 5 days in the car plus the time it took to drag herself up 300 ft to the road. She has in every sense of the word has earned the title of “Warrior”.
Thank you Dave for picking up this recovery and story so quickly after it happened. Her story needed to be told to inspire others. Thanks Dave and team for inspiring us to always put our best foot forward to help others and to keep our community’s clean and beautiful!
You guys ROCK!

Her story hits so close to home. I was in a very very similar crash. Mental health issues, abuse, alcohol and loss are horrible. This gave me chills when they said July 26th bc that was the day of my fiery accident/NDE but in 2006. The good Lord saved me and I was Baptised in Aug that year 🙏 I was 22 I'm now 39. I'm a welder/fabricator not a wordsmith but I hope anyone reading that needs help can find Jesus 🙏 and I will be praying for them as well.

You Gentlemen are Angels, hard working, brilliant, patient and, handsomely grubby.God bless your families, and the ones you've helped.
The music was perfect for the recovery, somber and reflective.
Thank you ☺️

I'm so curious about the details of this womans' experience being down there and climbing out. It would be awesome if you guys would see if she's willing to do an interview with you once she's feeling better and healed up. Sending her best wishes of a smooth and quick recovery.

This was quite a story and I am very impressed with the recovery. I can't believe she lived through that and then crawled up that steep hill with the kind of pain she must have been in. Great work guys.

It now suicide awareness month, this serves to show how precious life is. It also, shows us the will to live is stronger than our brain let's on. I'm thankful you put numbers on there for others struggling.

Guys, you mean something in this world. You're loved and valued. Realize how much you are needed!

I’ve cared for MVA patients in an ICU with multiple broken ribs and broken sternum who end up on a ventilator within 24 hours so Her soul was not listening to her mind trying to give up!! Amazing and absolutely spiritually uplifting

FWIW - if the opportunity arises it may be helpful one day for her to hear how strong she was to survive that, climb out even with injuries, and to live on. It might help her to know that she has some strength greater than whatever weighed on her that day. Stronger than many of us to be sure. Dave and his crew are good folks, it's not just a car recovery, it's someone's life and story. Very respectful to say the least.
