Sony Ericsson Vivaz pro Review

PhoneArena presents a video review of the Sony Ericsson Vivaz pro - the QWERTY variant of the Vivaz. The Vivaz pro is almost identical to the Vivaz, except, of course, for the presence of a side-sliding QWERTY keyboard, and the 5MP camera, instead of an 8MP one. Otherwise, the Vivaz pro has a 3.2-inch resistive screen, HD video recording and runs the dated Symbian^1 operating system.

@Beantown37 Yes there is mini/full qwerty keyboard on the screen. You have to click on it and select the one you want to use.

@Kadishona I think that might be a local manufacturing thing because I just bought mine and it's totally normal.

i got this for CAD $25.00 from Fido & the physical buttons are perfect in snowy weather and wearing gloves outside

@Kadishona german keyboards are made that way, french's got the "a" and "q" swapped, don't really know the reason. that's why you NEED to know if it's a QWERTY keyboard

@greenlink96 because it is a resistive screenusually used for the SE P-series.. not like capacitive touchscreen used by x10, iphone, galaxy s

@KpopMusic1 Theres a little button at the back of the phone which lets you select the mode, locks and on/off.
Pretty awesome phone, just got it a few days ago

@RibenaFanta You have to press pretty hard, but it's doable. Easier to use the fingernail, or even pick up a plastic pointer thing... it should actually come with one of those

@PillowFightMania
No, I live in Sweden and it's available here :), But I have the Arc which is more modern so I don't know about the vivaz...

Resistive Touchscreen is outdated technology but it is very useful to people who wears gloves, or something covering their hands and fingers much like in cold places.

@fa8370 It's actually pretty good. Not as good as a capacitive screen off course but it's not a problem at all..

I had this phone for 12 days and absolutely HATED IT! I realized at the end of the month when we pay the bill for this it's not worth it! i had a sony ericsson w518a and it really did the job! We were on a budget and at the time i didn't like the touch screen phones. I got the sony ericcson vivaz and at first it was good.. then when i would go to shop the music it would say "no entry" or something like that. I took it back and got a pantech burst and am very happy with it.

@pestoor1 yes you can.. you plug your phone into the computer and a file comes up called phone card or something and you can drag music from your itunes into the folder.. well at least thats how i did it haha

@pestoor1 hmm.. well when you are sliding between screens like the 5 screens that you have on the top its not as good as the itouch but like when you are pressing buttons and stuff its good..
