Samsung Galaxy Note 9 - How to Take Apart & Replace LCD Glass Screen

This is a tutorial video on how to take apart and replace the LCD screen on your Samsung Galaxy Note 9. (The entire Frame+LCD+Digitizer+Glass screen assembly)

Its the same procedure and same glass screen used for all carrier models.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Duos with Dual SIM card slots.

I used the following tools:
1. Small Phillips head screw driver
2. Tweezer
3. Open Prying tool
4. Hair Dryer or Heat Gun

To replace the screen, you have to remove all the parts first so the screen is the only thing left. Damn.

I tried it and it works I don't think I heated it up Enough and I broke the back Well, I've got it in a case anyway, so it doesn't matter :D Thanks for the help.😄👍

Everything was going reasonably well until using the technique desired for removing the battery, the battery erupted into flames. I never imagined this would be a fire hazard or dangerous and was performing this disassembly in my office. I ran down the hall with a erupted burning cell phone and battery, trying to get to a safe place. I am not blaming the author of the video but I would put a big disclaimer that this possibility exist if you damage the battery. I completely understand now why these batteries are banned from aircraft. it was a small simple fire it erupted into a ball of flames. BE CAREFUL

How does the quality of this OEM replacement screen compare to the original in terms of quality, color and resolution?

So it is not exactly screen replacing as you are not removing screen as itself.

excellent video, if you would next time, go a little slower when you are taking out the screws. I did figure out that putting the speed to .5 works well also but when most people think they should speed things up because it is boring, I think you need to slow it down so we can follow along. the only thing better would have been to actually have the video go in reverse. But excellent. thanks
