Mine's still intact, It's been a few years now. The only thing I did is tied a few zip ties around the mag safe connecter so that it's straight.

This isn’t for Mac guys, it’s for anyone plugging their computer, phone... whatever, into cheap power cables. I see those $5 Lightning cables at gas stations and feel bad for all the fried, innocent motherboards out there

i'm not a Apple fanatic by any means but my Macbook Air mid 13 holds up today quite well. The quality on that thing is far better than anything sold then. But I'm leaning more for a Lenovo T series next time.
