Idea: Any extra juice can be frozen in ice cube trays and kept in a freezer ziplock bag and pulled out as needed

I 100% recommend adding honey and black pepper to the turmeric one. Honey, tumeric and ginger are a classic ayurvedic combination.

Adding black pepper to the turmeric enhances the absorption, not the best tasting but definitely beneficial! Turmeric reduces inflammation and aids in digestion.👍🏾

You should take the pulp, freeze dry and powder it. Capsule it or just stir it into hot water for a tea... mixing it with ice water and some monk fruit powder would be delicious as a summer drink.

I agree with you about Home Ec. When I was in school many years ago Home Ec was a required class for girls and Shop was required for boys. It’s a shame that it’s not required now. I learned so much in that class. Not only cooking but sewing and other household things.

Funny story here: I got out all the ingredients to make the hot pockets. I had just stocked the cupboards and fridge and I was ready to go! Made the filling, instead of onion powder and garlic powder I use onion and garlic. Got the chicken cooked and dropped in the cream cheese and dashed to the garden for some chives. Everything was ready to go-until-I went to the fridge and discovered I bought cinnamon rolls instead of crescent rolls. I pondered for a moment and thought about pasta that you had mentioned and then it hit me, I had puff pastry in the freezer. Can I tell you that this went from a disaster to magnificent meal!! Brushed the tops with egg wash and the parm cheese! My family thinks I am a genius, hhahaha!!! Thanks for sharing Becky!

Becky, turn your microplane zester upside down, so you have the back of it facing up. Then drag the zester over the lemon. It is faster and more efficient. You can see all the zest and where you have already been on the lemon. Just tap the zester on a board to release the zest and to zest some more.

Love your videos Becky! Just an idea...You could freeze some of your ginger shots in ice cube trays for when you want to add it to your drinking water this summer :)

Becky, you probably would like golden milk. It's a drink from India and my whole family likes it, and my kids always ask for it. It entails warming a pot with a spoon of Ghee (just a bit) and adding ground turmeric, ginger and cinnamon, honey and almond milk. Whisk it until warm and serve warm. There are lots of recipes online.

Great idea for a health drink. Definitely add a tiny pinch of pepper to the turmeric jar when you open it and you can always add honey as well. Turmeric is so beneficial you shouldn't leave it out if at all possible.

Hey Becky, if you have used organic turmeric, then put the stained items under direct sunlight for couple of hours and the stain should disappear 😊. I hope it works for you. BTW love your vlogs. Take care.

Hey Becky, it just doesn’t matter if you have or haven’t peeled the ginger. It does not affect the taste, if you are making a powder after freeze drying it. If not making it into a powder, it will give a bit of a texture. I am from India and I cook with ginger every single day. I don’t peel my ginger either.
Thanks for your videos, they really are amazing 😊😊

Becca!! I filled the cinder blocks in my garden beds up with play sand from Lowes. So no black widdows or anything can live in there. So my 2 year old grandson is safe hanging out with me in my garden. Best thing I ever did!

Idea 💡- What if you blended and separated each ingredient- Ginger, Lemons, Turmeric- individually and then just blended the juices? You'd have the individual pulps to freeze dry! So then You'd get powdered ginger and turmeric and freeze dried lemon powder to make Lemondade with! (Just add water and sugar 😋)
Also, what do you think of adding raw honey to the ginger turmeric shots for extra, extra health benefits? (And mostly for sweetness, because WOW!) 💜💜💜

The chives will also always be the first thing you ever harvested in your new home❣️🤗 I love watching all that you do. It tells a lot about the kind of person you are - authentic! Same with Josh. We may not always see him in front of the camera, but I know, without a doubt, he stays just as busy as you. And all the support he shows you, to me, is top notch! I pray all your dreams come true. I know I’ve certainly seen some of them come true already. Great job Becky, Josh, and baby Acre! I love your channel! 💛🤗💛

Adding black pepper helps your body to absorb all the nutrients from the ginger tumeric and lemon. I add a whole unpeeled lemon to the juicer which extracts more of the nutrients . Sooo good for you! ❤
