Hello Jack, in the AQA specification it says "Model motion under gravity in a vertical plane using vectors; projectiles"
Since it only mentions vectors, does that mean we can only use the Integration Method or also the SUVAT?
And are you planning on making a video with an example of how to use the integration method?

THanks for all the effort!

do we need to know how to derive this in the exam?

Hi Jack, thanks for the amazing videos! Do you have any videos on deriving the equation of the path of a projectile? It's in Edexcel's specification:

7.5 - Model motion under gravity
in a vertical plane using vectors; projectiles.

- Derivation of formulae for time of flight,
range and greatest height and the *derivation of the equation of the path of a projectile may be required*.

Thanks for all your hard work!

What does the range mean? Of a flight and in general (for projectiles)

Would the equation still be the same even if it wasn't projected at a height? Or would you remove the "y" from the "8gy"

Do we need to learn both methods (suvat method and integration method) or will we be ok with just learning suvat method?
