Yaesu FT480R Yaesu 2m SSB/FM/CW transceiver. Quality all mode for not a great deal of $$$...😎

Im a big fan of the Yaesu Ft480/680/780 series of all mode transceivers and they were known for extremely hot receivers. A quick test of two transceivers here prove that to be very true, simply hears a pin drop on the band. Good radio's, I eventually had one when funds allowed back in the 80's. Worked loads of Europe on Tropo and SpE. Everyone calls these "All mode", same as the Icoms of the era, but there was no AM on them. Surely that makes them "Multimode"...??
