Years ago a company offered me a position as an Implementation Specialist and asked me if I’d move to DC for $55k. I told her I wouldn’t move across the street for 55k let alone DC. I was living in the Midwest at the time. Employers are well aware of the cost of living and will use the company’s brand to low ball you into an offer. That 125k offer in San Fran will look like $16 an hour real quick.

Right. The company will try to sell you on their brand and image. The assumption being that they are giving you a gift by allowing you to say, I work at XY prestigious organization. Great point.

Might I add the opportunity for growth at smaller agencies is just phenomenal. An SDR that generates growth and revenue for a small company is worth his weight in gold. Generate the same results at a larger company and you are simply, a little fish in a big pond.

Why I don't prefer big companies and I also hate smaller companies that grow too fast. I actually enjoy start ups that are building from the ground up

Tesla told me $95k and I would have to be in office at the Austin giga factory, I was already making over $100k and remote at some no name company 😂😂
