At a glance the new release of CVS2018 looks good, colour grading, NVIDA CUDA support, etc. But ...
Editing without the timeline autogap adjustment is not possible, CVS is crashing when I use the hardware encode, the library becomes inconsistent wrong thumbnails are removed.
Now I am back with CVS 2018 and I will not upgrade until the timeline insert/move works as before.

in Timeline , video timeline first track videos auto adjust gap option removed .we need that option so that if we trim the video gap is appearing so every time have to manually adjust this is critical ....

I have had and upgraded this software since my initial purchase of Version 4. This is a very nice editing program with two annoyances that seem so obvious, I don't understand why they haven't been corrected. While editing, if you click on the "Graphics" icon, the drop down menu opens to "objects"...NO ONE ever uses these things primarily. You're looking for the color menu. Why doesn't it open the color menu? I know it's like two extra clicks, second is that the scrolling bar at the bottom of the time line is a gray color. Ok, but does the cursor have to be a slightly lighter shade of gray? It's virtually invisible to my aging eyes. White too difficult? As you can see, I'm somewhat passionate about this, but it's like Lucy and the football. Every year, I mention it, they say they'll look into it and then give you the ultimate kiss of death..."Please send a screen shot of the problem"

there's still the bug that makes the files in the library management dont move correctly, you swap places with another file and the swap doesnt happen.


this is happening since the previous version and its still not fixed.

What would cause a sluggish, laggy preview in the preview window? It renders fine, but I'm seeing choppy video and audio in the preview while editing. Just bought software last night. Laptop is decent gaming laptop, should be more than enough for the requirements of the software... I've ran some free video editing software in the past with same computer and video footage was clean and seamless ....

Can anyone help me? I have the VideoStudio Pro, and I'm trying to connect my phone to it to be used to capture video, but it's not showing my phone as an option under "Capture". I have the Google Pixel 3. Any help would be much appreciated.

Where have the accented letters (for French, German, Danish, Dutch etc) gone? You had them on previous versions, even copy and paste them doesn't work...? Disappointing! Luckily Japanese characters work (on the japanese localized version that is).

I used to preach about how Corel were a great company and much better than Adobe. However, I purchased Photo Mirage a while back and suddenly I'm getting pop-up ads on my desktop for Corel Video Studio. This is pop-up ads on my DESKTOP!!! Not on the Internet. The most invasive advertising I have experienced on a computer. Bad move Corel.
