Gooliope Jellington Monster High Doll Review - BJD comparison and jointing demo

I wanted to show off the cool jointing of this new large monster high doll girl! I have the dolls naked to show off the joints and sculpt (as this is a review of how the joints work). I also talk about some of the things I don't like about her sculpt, but overall she is fantastic and a super good buy. She looks nice next to my other BJD's. I hope to repaint her face and re-do her hair sometime.

I have to say, I wasn't really sold on Gooliope-- excited to see the size range, but meh on the doll herself-- but watching the review, I'm really finding myself loving her!

Thank you for this. It's the most comprehensive review of this size monster high doll. Just as an FYI, Longer Barbie dresses do fit, as well as some other Barbie clothes. Of course, M torsos are super long so... shirts are short, and short dresses are... micro mini dresses, hahaha!

I got this doll last month and I was over the moon with it. I already love my slew of Monster High dolls but since I'm transitioning to BJD dolls, when I saw her I grabbed her off Toys R Us shelf and bolted to the checkout counter. I can't wait to see the other ones Mattel make!

Thank you for posting this! I found out that Barbie clothes fit her well, only that they might be a little short on Gooliope, recommend long Barbie dresses. I also found out that BJD SD wigs 8-9 (1/3) inch fit her head! But when it comes to the shoes....Man it's hard to find any! I'm gonna try a pair of MSD shoes(like you) only that they are boots. They are bigger than her feet, but I can always put something in the shoes so they fill up the space. If anyone knows any shoes that might fit her better, please tell me! :)

Where did you see the video where they completely cut out and replaced the eyes of a monster high doll??

I wish she could be taken completely apart so i could figure out how to sculpt one exactly like gooliope and be able to make customs out of her. Because I really like her as she is and wouldn't like to change her.

Can the torso joint come off? For example, if someone wanted to use some clay to mod the dolls torso joint to make the doll look more bjd oriented, would they be able to do that? I really want to try that as a little project to try out. Thank you for making this helpful review as well!
