Wolf Children:
When Hana falls in love, it feels like a fairy tale. She starts a family and produces two beautiful children -- Yuki (Snow), a girl, and Ame (Rain), a boy. This is show is one of the best anime movies of all times. And Hana is definitely one of the greatest mothers one could have

omg i saw it on a very cold winter day, the snow fell hard i was a primary school student, and the teachers were not able to come to school cuz the roads were closed cuz of the snow, i returned home and i was filled with happiness, i asked my mom to prepare some warm milk with cookies, and i sat in front of the tv, i flipped through the channels and somehow i found this movie, i watched it in its entirety and it affected me and i loved it so much, so I put on my winter clothes and went out to play with my friends, i still remember the details of that day, it was 2018 or 2019 😞

I'm not an anime guy at all, I usually don't like it. But shieet, this almost made me cry a few times. This movie will definitely touch you if you were raised by a single mother, as I was.

Just watched and it so many emotions! It’s heart wrenching but at the same time flawlessly beautiful. It feels like being a small child and coming in from a cold rainy day to receive a warm bubble bath from your mum then to be dried and cuddled as she feeds you milk and cookies. I’m still welling up with emotions 🥹
Will live on in my heart for the rest of my life as a truly precious story!❤

just watch his movie for the first time and omg it was amazing !! wow really i was mislead by by the name of it but i'm so glad i saw it ! really really beautiful movie !  i really like the fact that yuki and ame born on some way and ended up being the oppsite of what you think they will be ! i was really happy that yuki was able to fit in school and life but really hated ame for leaving them like that !! i mean cant he be like his father !! i have to say my fav character was yuki i just loved her and loved the way she changed from a little crazy wolf kid to a totally beautiful girl ! really amazing i would highly  suggest the movie !

A very beautiful film. The death of the Wolf Man is just so heartbreaking for me, what more for Hana and their children. Best animated movie that I've seen so far. I thought that Hotarubi no Mori e was the only animated film to make me cry and I was totally wrong. This movie just hits you with the feels out of nowhere. Simply, amazing.

I never thought that this movie would hit me like an ant in the storm. The way it portrays life as something so complex, and problems as inevitable, shows that all we can do to find joy despite them is to show the world that even thunderstorms are beautiful (like how they nourish crops, recharge groundwater resources, etc.) through a smile or other ways. Though it may seem simple, reading between the lines reveals a deeper meaning than one might initially think. For those who enjoy movies that provide a massive impact, this movie is recommended.

This was shown as part of the 26th Leeds International Film Festival. I absolutely loved it! (when I found it was also being shown on the last day of the festival I went to see it a second time!)
