Are These AUTISM Headphones For YOU?

Are these the best headphones for autism noise cancelling?

There is a lot of people trying to find the perfect autism headphones why? Let me explain.

Autism comes with sensory processing disorder, this can make autistic people sensitive to sounds.

Lots of the time too much noise can be overloading and causes a meltdown for autism people.

So it stands to reason why a good pair of noise cancelling headphones can be life changing.

These headphones hit the mark, they are super comfy and really do block out noise!

For the price point and the actual practical impact of blocking out noise this is a good purchase.

However the only downside is they are hard to get use to the buttons and navigation (turning noise cancelling on and off).

Let me know what your thoughts are on this in the comments below and follow @TheAspieWorld for more autism content.

I've never really got on with earbuds, so I wear full headphones. They aren't noise cancelling, but they do to a degree just with the seal around the ears. The other main advantage I find is they disuade people from talking to me in public.

I’ve been using the Nuhera IQBuds Max 2 for some time, and I have to say that the control they give you is superior to what you get with any other buds. The support they offer is amazing, and although the charging case is a little larger than a matchbox, it holds 4 full charges for the buds. As someone who is on the spectrum, I rate these quite highly. I would have liked to have seen a proper review looking at the functional range offered by them and am a little bit disappointed that it was glossed over.

The sound quality is amazing, they have a function called EarID so they can help with mild to moderate hearing loss, and you have the ability to change the soundscape around you to help you deal with different real-world scenarios.

They are simply awesome.

thanks for this review, a good set of headphones can definitely change your days, can't go to the supermarket without mine, I spend a LOT of time with headphones on, I try to check my ears and clean the silicon to avoid infections because that's the dark side of it all,

Hey Dan, I’ve recently found out I’m on the spectrum. I’m 21, and I used to never be expressive and I’ve recently been able to express myself better but a lot of the time people will think I will be mad or upset about something that happens or comes up. It makes me feel self conscious when it happens and it’s really starting to bother me. I struggle to let things go and leaving a topic unfinished for me is agonizing. It’s kinda a vague question but do you have any advice on being more expressive and when to let some things slide and not get caught up in one detail that isn’t important because only I will be the only one bothered by something that small, but not to the point of making people feel uncomfortable or just not talking cause people will think it’s weird I care about such small details. Also, any advice on when a conversation topic is over, I’ll always feel like I’ll talk about everything associated with the starting topic and struggle to realize the other person has lost interest. I know personal experience is best but when I can kinda have a baseline of how people normally behave, it helps me understand what I’m doing to make people uncomfortable without knowing.

Hey Dan you should check out Amazon's echo Dot earbuds I wouldn't say the noise canceling is as good as it could be my over the ear headphones is way better of course but they work pretty darn good I'd say probably a 7 or an 8 out of 10 at least they have an option to switch into pass-through mode so you can hear the outside world a little better but the best thing about them they saved my life the other day.

We were at the park Saturday before Easter and we could see that there was a band setting up at the amphitheater but we were behind the amphitheater so we couldn't really see what was going on and then all the sudden it was as if somebody with a really loud base in their car drove by that was the sound check within 5 minutes there was blaring music ricocheting off the stone seating in front of the amphitheater so we got the sound from the from the music plus the reverberations coming back at us causing massive distortion at an extremely excessive level my husband and I immediately get up to leave because I can't I just can't take that and I thought for a second that Alexa can fix this and I said Alexa play my favorite music started singing at the top of my lungs to the music playing in my ears and didn't hear the band at all calm down after two songs and I nearly had a heart attack when the music started so that was amazing being able to actually say her magic name and get her to do things cuz I don't have to talk loudly for Alexa to hear me and respond. Alex is still a little dumb in my eyes for an AI but better than nothing and she saved my life that day so I love her a bit more now

Have you tried the sony xm5 and do you like them or the bose better? I'm super curious because I can't decide on which ones to get. I really need good noise cancelling because all of the noise hearing my neighbors conversations, them screaming, and roosters all night long is driving me crazy. It feels like hell. 😭

I personally rock AirPods. No pros just regular, they make sounds muffled just right for me. My Asperger’s syndrome finally has a volume control now only if I can get my hands of a copy of the socialization book NTs got at birth

These are a scam, they are completely overpriced and dont look like they are any good quality, especially if you are saying the airpods have better cancellation. If you want something that is comfortable, but still has great noise cancellation, i would go with Airpod pros. You can get them pretty cheap on ebay and refurbished. But if you want the best noise cancelling experience (on earbuds) go with sonys WF-1000xm4, i have had them since launch and coudnt be happier. Really helps someone like me on the spectrum whilst in TAFE (australian community college) to do my work without getting distracted easily.
