Manson Has 2 Moves Left on the FBI Letter!

Marilyn Manson may face long odds on his appeal, but now Evan Rachel Wood is faced with some decisions too. Like, does she file aa claim for assault now that the statute of limitations allows it - or waive that. And if she does file a claim, does that "open the door" for Manson to bring the FBI letter and his other struck contentions into court?

I don't think she's going to sue him because it's not in her interests, on all levels. Why would she sue him when she can say what she wants, play the victim all she wants without having to prove anything. It'll be interesting to see that she's not using a law she "fought" for. But in this case anything can happen so...

A bit off topic, forgive me, but I still can't understand why accusing anybody of something, and especially a serious crime that affects your public reputation, WITHOUT being able to prove it, can be considered by a court a "slapp situation"!
It's like a murder or a self defense situation: you can't just kill a random person and then play the card of the self defense in front of a judge! You have to demonstrate it for God sake!
This case is even worst of JD vs AH because ERW didn't even bother to show some fake bruises made with make up and this is free speech?!
So now I can start scream "you are a rapist! You are a f*ckin rapist!" everywhere, on the TV, on social media...
You can say "no, I'm not, I'll sue you if you keep slandering me!"
And then a judge came and say "shut up Steve! This is free speech, don't you know it?she can say whatever she wants!"

Let's not forget she even defamed the law enforcement, the police, the DA office, publicly accusing all of them of intentional laziness and omissions about this case (while they WASTE tons of money and time investigating bulls*its). And this is another serious accusation. This is a crime, even if I don't know how do you call it in your legal system...even the police can't defend herself from defamation?

I've fallen behind on the happenings in this case so I appreciate this update!!! This is one of the more maddening cases going at the moment with all the moving parts. And that FBI letter seems like such a pivotal piece of evidence and for Manson not to be able to use it.. I'm sure he's going to wait it out for that cross suit just for a chance at being able to use it to his defense. It's a smart move.

Some courtbattles have shown that the consequences for this regarding public abuse claims gone to court are none.

There are exeptions like part of the JD case verdict that was to his gain.

I think she and her team would consider any countersuit as playing into his hands so they won't do it. He could try the 'if you helped pass the Phoenix Act then why don't you use it?' argument but she has publicly come forward and gone to the Police so it's not like she hasn't done anything. I think she did her homework about the chances of a successful claim against him, considered the amount of publicity it would receive and just how nasty things could get and decided that wasn't the route for her.

If he really hurt her and other women so badly, he should be convicted and thrown in prison - not sued for all he's worth.
