Did anyone else notice how he looks ahead when he plays? He's playing on the 12 fret and is looking at the 7th frets...such a talent.

Lol, I laughed so hard when he started blasting with his left hand. This man has the most insane coordination ever.

P.s. If you're a beginner, start slow building up your speed, flexibility, and endurance. Especially if you're over 30 years old. Tendonitis sucks. And can be a real bummer if you reach too far, too soon. The mind can react and adjust at lightning speed. But tendons, ligaments, and muscles take time to strengthen, stretch, and adapt. So please have patience, and be conscientious of your body.

WTF, Steve Vai just did a 12 fret stretch in the middle of the neck without even trying. That was cool. Stretching distance is something I need to practice. That just inspired me right there.

It still blows my mind that Steve went to Joe satriani with a pack of strings in one hand and a guitar in the other!! He didn't know even how to string it up or tune it or nothing!!!!, now he is a legend amongst guitarists worldwide, thanks to the great Love them

It's amazing how much he emphasizes relaxing. It's the opposite of what I tend to do when I struggle.

Steve and eric Johnson are the 2 guitarists I could just lay in my bed, close my eyes and just listen to for hours. Such beutiful melody.

" if you just take a breath and relax the shit just starts to come together" now HE IS a spiritual musical magician but that's the most grounded thing he's said lowkey

Was one of the first Kiwis to buy Steve's Ibanez 777 Jem back in early 1989, with my 30th anniversary Marhall 6100 Ltd edition have them, one of my prized instruments. An incredibly well thought out and designed guitar, beautiful to play, great refretted it twice myself with Stew mac's 6100 fret wire.
Steve has always been one of my top 5 guitarists, and I now own 3 Ibanez guitars amongst my 42 others.
Thanks to a flexi disc recording of Steve playing the Attitude song off Flexible, in one of my collection of Guitar Player magazines, and was instantly a can't play like him, but have enjoyed immensely watching him on your vids....thanks for the awesome blessed and "ROCK ON DUDE"!!😎😎😎😎
