It’s been a long 6 or 7 months.

Diagnosed on 27 October, surgery on 7 December and starting chemo on New Year’s Eve.
I have had many tough days but with the support of my family, friends, a great boss and colleagues I have nearly made it to the end of my chemo treatments.
I could not have done it without them. This also includes all the wonderful supporters from around the world on IG and YouTube.

I still have radiation to go and then long term hormone therapy but one of the hardest legs is nearly behind me.

Only three weeks to go with chemo!! I have gained a hell of a lot of weight which I will have to work on. It’s tough when you have no energy to get moving. My hair is growing back albeit extremely grey 🫢 unfortunately no sign of any lashes 😢

I am excited as the weeks tick away and the number of treatments draw to a close.

Dear Angela seeing you brings home the fact this is serious, scary, grueling, never ending misery. I am so sorry you are going through this. We are so used to seeing you smiling, happy, made up, put together and optimistic! Quite a positive face you have made for us. Thank you. Its called awareness that it could and does happen to everyone, maybe. We don't know why its a pick and choose not a wipe out of people.
