I honestly think the creators were far too ambitious and bit off more than they could chew. Tempest Run, New Austin, Guarma; all of them were meant to be far more than what they were but they just ran out of time. Initially RDR2 was supposed to span from 1877 to 1907, they didn’t know that Micah was gonna end up being the main villain, Arthur’s son was supposed to die on the way to Colter. They had so many ideas that they either abandoned or came up with as they were going.

RDR3 will make up for it, I’m sure. Assuming they learn from their mistakes. In spite of all that, they still created a masterpiece.
