I see a build inaccuracy that I guess you've never noticed. Castle gates never align with each other, you could say it is an "engineering" concept since all castles used this concept. Gates never align so that when an enemy gained access to the gate they first have to walk halfway around to get to the other gate which gives the defenders a final chance to prepare and guard before the enemy reaches the main building.

Love the video, Incy! Just a thought—maybe you could make the sea an enchanted sea that only the ships of the local people can sail in. Also, you could add a shipwreck that shows an ancient rival civilization tried to rob the vault Ethezyl talked about, but a wizard from the wizard tower cursed the entire sea so that all enemy ships would sink while the locals' ships remained unharmed.

Maybe you could also include the corpses of magical creatures that protect the island—ones that no one ever sees alive, only their remains after years of decay.

Some recommendations for the castle.. it's a bit too tall and flat. A castle wouldn't have enough structural support if it was built like that. You should have it tiered, with it gradually getting smaller, or include butresses along the sides to provide additional support. You could also add in balconies and latrine or exterier buildings, to include more depth and detail into the build.

Inspiration ideas:

1) Use the underground vault as storage room(make a hide storage system) being guarded by the dragon, to access it you would need to pass the dragons(with a key or smth, showing that youre worthy) or all of this for a museum/treasures you gathered on your way(like insane loot, the dragons head and so on)

2) connecting the bridge using floating parts like its being held by magic using some lights to make it look nice and amplifying the presence of magic

3) maybe have the wall of the castle repaired but broken(being held also by magic but with missing and floating pieces)

4) Big boat transporting prisoners(creepers) to the prison, with some sunken ships under water and half sunken ships near it to show failed escape attempts ending tragically

5) Personal armor/weapons room(maybe like an iron farm inside the castle walls so it would have its own private armory

6) Statues/graveyard in front of the castle entrance(showing the aftermath of an attack)

7) underground cave( with private port and/or private prison for the prisoners sent to be judged at the castle(full with skeletons (showing that they died after being forgotten there after the attack)) with old ships

8) pervious kings tomb in the church(or outside in a field symbolizing a big sword)

9) huge long bridge between the island and the continent

Btw incy im kinda late but a really useful tip for 1:00 when you're crafting, press on the block you want in the crafting recipes help book and then hold shift and space to take the crafted item and it will use all the materials you have in your inventory to make that item really really fast. I don't know if you got my explanation but if you did it will help you out a ton.

I love the style of the castle. Such an underused pallet. Maybe the cataclysm that destroyed the first civilisation was the ender dragon before a hero managed to defeat it and banish it to the end dimension. Then they mysteriously vanished leaving behind their armour and weapons as the only sign that they had been there. Maybe the hero got turned into a saint and their armour and weapons got turned into relics that only the nobles and elite can visit and do pilgrimages to at the cathedral.

An idea for more lore maybe, the top of the amethyst in the entertainment district holds power that the grand wizard uses. Because of this the top of that amethyst is taken and put at the top of the wizards tower. It could connect the castle to the entertainment district and could serve as the power that determines if you are worth or not to control. It would also contribute to the castle gatekeeping not only their religion but their power
