My tip would be immidietly search for a village as the world is created, you get already rid of 3 main things: "food", "equipment" (cause either generated golems or blacksmiths) and beds since they're already generated.
Villagers are more common than people think
From a radius of 1k from 0, 0 there's at least 3-5 villages and by sprint jumping you already cover 7.127 blocks per second, so having the mindset of a speedrunner and going on search for a village and you'll be set.
Expecially for one other simple reason: Villagers are also super valueble

Edit: Though I have to say that on a new new player's prospective, the one said in the video is the preferable solution

Edit 2: Also for the village thing of 3-5, I know it's like that in Java, but I'm clueless if It's the same in Bedrock

When I first started playing MC, my usual starter base was just a dirt staircase into the ground, and then I could mine blocks and get stone for tools and building, and then I would wait for night to end, and then leave the area looking for cool stuff

pov your me: skips a base and just mines so I can have diamond armour on day 2, then maxed villagers on day 5

My first night is casually doing anything and at day 5/6 focusing at building the house because I love to explore, and day 5/6 cause inventory full and got nowhere to drop those "useful for later" items hahaha

first things I do when I spawn in a new world:
break 4 tree wood
craft the wood
make crafting table and sticks
make wooden pick
find nearest stone and mine 8
craft stone sword, axe, and pick
(optional) mine another 8 stone and make a furnace
and continue with finding iron
