Vicarious Liability
According to the principle of vicarious liability, When one person is liable for the wrongful acts done by other person then that first person is known as vicariously liable for the act of second person. Here relationship between two of them is must.
Liability of A for the act done by B can arise when there is some relationship between A and B

Very nice lecture. I have one doubt, Master is liable only when the master authorizes a tort. In that case, the clerk example which you mentioned was not authorized by the master. Then, why should the master be held liable if the clerk misappropriates the property.
