Krystal and Saagar's coverage of the mess in Ukraine is just the latest indication that they are out of their element in foreign affairs. Apparently, they depend heavily on traditional sources of information, where unbiased facts are the rarest of commodities. A little real research seems to provide many of the commenters with a clear picture of what's going on. Surely Krystal and Saagar (or their staff) are capable of the same level of fact checking.

Quick explanation of the weather situation, since the mainstream sources are ignorant as always. The given reason for no air part of the parade is bad weather at the airfield they were waiting to take off from (which is not near Moscow). There were flybys at the parades in other Russian cities (they take place throughout the country, the Moscow one is just the biggest)

Just a heads up, we also have a doomsday plane. Not only do we have have one, but it always flies with the president wherever he goes. It's the mobile pentagon. The war zone has an amazing story on it, actually several.

Russia has never intended on conquering Kyiv. Who are you listening to that gives you that impression? Putin stated clearly russia’s intentions and goals. Securing eastern Ukraine autonomy so the ethnic Russian population is no longer under attack and yes getting these actual neo-Nazis out of there! In Canada we call it Remembrance Day. In the US I think it's called Veterans Day. Its a solemn day. Use that context around Putin's actions/words...a little different than the Kim Jong Il, or Hitler parade visions that certainly seem to come to peoples minds..
