In the case of my house in order to get the blueprints to my house we had to do these steps: step one: go in the boiler room in the basement, step two: dig through a cabinet, step 3: separate the blueprints from the forgotten newspapers from 1979, once we separated them we continued with the renovation, that's why you keep those in your house. Our house is from 1978 and 46 years old so far older than 8 to 10 years so one of the ways in this video would not be an option.
