super helpful! All these years I've been converting years and months by doing a Text to Columns split. This is easier!

Such simple formulas but with massive impact! I'll be using all of these when working with dates that I need to strip apart. Thank you so much for putting such well explained, clear and SHORT video to explain these little beauties. Liked and subscribed....it's the least any one of us can do to show that we appreciate your time and dedication! :-)

Thank you, I always appreciate the time someone has taken to share their knowledge. Even after years of using Excel, there is always a new requirement, and frankly using practical videos like yours is preferable to running through help on Microsoft.

I will use the week num function but have a question. Is there a function for calculating the week number other than Jan. 1? I'd like to start my business calendar year on 11/1 instead. thanks.

I'm unsure why (so frustrating!) but the =YEAR formula does not separate out the year in my worksheet.
...may need to take beginning excel...
