When taking a laptop, I still prefer a backpack that the laptop portion can be unzipped 180 so you don't have to actually take out the laptop. Guess I'm paranoid that someone will grab it or I'll forget it ;) Since red is not an option, I'm on team purple. Thanks for the video, you are going to need a bigger bag room 😁

A little pricey for me, but it does seem like a perfect size if you are a light packer. Thanks for checking United, I enjoy flying them, but their personal item size is one of the smallest in the industry. I bought a Bento Bags for my husband and I and we both love them! So much space! We both use the top pockets the same way- one for a liquids bag and the other for our tech bags. Easy access.

I'm not a big traveler but would love to be. I did, however, buy the plum Bento bag for a recent trip to Nashville to use along with a carryon and I love it! We flew American and on the flight out it fit great under the seat. On the way back everyone had to check their carry-on (boo!) and the Bento bag did not fit under the seat so it went in the overhead since our carryon had to be checked.

So glad you were able to review this personal bag! I first heard of Bento bag (first and second versions) from YouTuber I follow who’s a flight attendant and have been eyeing this bag for years. Was wondering what changes may have been made with the 3.0. It looks like it no longer comes with small tech and tsa bags. Nevertheless it still seems to be a great travel option. Hi Lauren! I would love to see a video on how you pack your toiletries! And the bag(s) you use for them. I've been trying to pare down my toiletries but still find the bag I love is hard to fit in my suitcase (a counter bag where everything stands up instead of a giant pit). I'm on my 5th toiletries bag in 15 years (I just recently stopped dog sitting, used to do it about 100 days/year, so I'm used to living out of a bag(s))
