I have been a Nomad Lane fan for years. I have 3 of the original bento bags, one for all the family. They are indestructible, at least with our use. I received notice today from their website that these slings were available for purchase. I was just laying out the measurement to see which one I wanted. Instead, I went to youtube and there YOU were!!!! Showing the slings! Yippee! I tend to be minimal on most days. After watching your video, I am really confused!😂 which one do I want! Ugh! Love ALL your videos and have watched some of them several times. You give great info and practical applications!!! Keep up the great work!!!

As much as there is a lot to offer, I agree with you that I really (really) need at least one outside zip/secure pocket. I bet 2.0 version will add that. And the large isn't too large, so would probably go w/ that size. Love the quality. Thank you.

I use the bento bag and was excited about this. However, no outside pockets makes it a pass for me.

I love the high end details and the jewel tone colors Nomad Lane uses! The quality of materials is really next level. I bought the Bordeaux Berry Bento bag based on your reviews last holiday season, and was bummed that they released the blue and green colorways right after that because I'm more of a cool toned person. The price point on the sling bags is a bit high for me on these, especially considering the missed opportunity for pockets on the leather stripe and back of the larger bag. Maybe they will come out with those features in the next version!

Zip pockets on front and back are really helpful for travel for quick access and for protection. Needs at least a back zipper pocket for wallet/phone/passport.

I’m not into slings…at least not now as prefer crossbody, but would love to see a taupe color especially in the tote bag! Thanks for another great video 😊

As always a REALLY great review. I saw they were released today but the pictures on the website I found to be pretty poor in terms of size and what you can store in them. So, really appreciate the inside detailed view. Love the colors, and the higher visibility colors on the inside. These look like a solid version 1.0 for Nomad entering the sling game. I still have yet to find something better then my Alpaka Go Sling and the Alpaka Vertex Pouch when it comes to travel. Like you, I like to wear everything I need on me during a flight.

I’ve been looking for a bag that I could use to hold plane essentials. Love that the large bag works for that with the added capability of being my everyday purse while traveling. Was able to grab the small bag for free. Great video! The colors are marvelous! I’ll plan on leaving enough room in my personal item bag to add the sling inside while boarding the plane.

Bummer they missed the opportunity to put pockets on the front and back. I'm so grateful I sew and can make my own waterproof bags with practical components. I like the colors though

I have been looking for a good crossbody bag for travel! I am unfamiliar with the nomad lane brand but they look great. I will look at all the bags they offer - thanks for the review and recommendations 😊 ( I love the green!)

I think the larger one would suit me for travel… but I’d prefer it in a navy blue. (My luggage and capsule wardrobe has navy as a base color.) I’ve also been interested in their bento bag, but again, I’d prefer it in the navy instead of the current colors available. 🤷🏻‍♀️
I’m with you on the preference for more (zippered) pockets on the sling. A front pocket, instead of just the decorative trim… and a back pocket (with a snap or a zipper) would be so much better.

Do the large sling hold larger headphones like Sony over ear headphones. I ordered both the large and small sling but I haven't received it yet to know. Both bags are gorgeous!
