Well, Volt Tackle DOES do recoil in the actual Pokémon games. So Pichu actually has the closer reference. Though hurting yourself during a special move isn’t too great.

From my point of view, I think Peach's final Smash is one of the best final smash in the game, currently.
She can heal and beat all of her opponents. Furthermore, she can kill you just with 0%, because she can makes you falling asleep in the middle of the air and you can't recover. However, it is true that on big stages it is worst
