UK 'out in front' in putting sanctions on Russia, says Boris Johnson

Boris Johnson claimed the UK is 'out in front' in terms of sanctions towards Russia as Keir Starmer pushed him for further measures during PMQs.

Johnson said 275 people are subject to sanctions - only three of these were added to sanctions since tensions escalated at the beginning of the week - bank assets were frozen and he added 'there is more to come'. The UK is expected to provide further military support to Ukraine, including lethal aid and non-lethal aid.

How's that going for you??? My husband, who works in the industry says that UK car companies can't ship car parts abroad to have engines built and tested by their partners because they can't validate exactly where the metal has come from. Specifically that it hasn't come from Russia. So putting multi million pound engine projects at risk. Yeah, really hitting Russia hard I see.
