So lucky! ! I have a single signed book, one I got accidentally actually. I had just read Fangirl and was looking in a bunch of bookstores for Carry On, but I couldnt find it anywhere. Finally, after looking for about a week, I found it, bought it, and went home. I opened it to find a signature! I thought it was just printed, but the marker bled through the page. It turns out that Rainbow Rowell signs a handful of copies before they get sent out to bookstores. Even though it isn't personalized, I really treasure it because of the sheer luck of finding a signed copy after wanting to read it for weeks!

Anyway, love this video, love this channel, keep up the incredible work! 💞

Darren Shan is to me what Cassie Clare is to you, and over the course of 8-ish years I've managed to get every single one of his books (there's 50 of them) signed and it just makes my heart so so happy ❤ and he's just like the loveliest, cutest, funniest human being ever, his signings are always the highlight of my year when he tours.

The little laugh after saying “for Emma Cassie Clare” legit just made my night every time 😂 your love for her makes me so happy, and that graduation pic on your insta where your holding her books is perfect (and I have a highschool one where I have Lady Midnight in the background because my mom said I wasn’t allowed brining all the books, so I just grabbed that one and two of my other favorite authors that I actually owned the books to.

So jealous you met Libba Bray and got your Diviner books signed! You're the one who really pushed me to pick up that series and it's one of my all time favourites now and would die if I ever met her to get my books signed!

I have one signed book in my whole collection and it's A Court of Mist and Fury. Didn't even know it was signed until I got it home. It's only a sticker but it ended up being one of my most favourite books and I treasure it so much.

One of my favorite signed books is the Book Thief; I picked it up at Barnes and Noble but we were reading it for school and it was so great having my own (signed) copy!

Yay signed books! I'm a little in awe of your collection haha. Most of my signed books are from subscription boxes, but I do have some personalized ones from when I went to bookcon last year :)

I'm living for these videos. For a person who doesn't live in the usa or uk I have like a crazy amount of signed books. I own 33 signed books (including authors like Becky Albertalli, Jenny Han, Ransom Riggs, Marissa Meyer, Tahereh Mafi, Tomi Adayem and more. Most of them are personalised and some are signed bookplates). But for people who don't live in the usa or uk I do have some tips in finding out when signings are happening and how you can get signed books. Follow your own publishers on social media. I'm from the Netherlands and I follow like the big Dutch publishers on social media because quite some times did I find out some cool events or authors where coming. Also subscribe to your favorite authors newsletter and follow them on social media because authors do travel outside of the us and uk and now you will be up to date with their tour schedules. Also check your comic cons. A lot of authors will visit comic cons and then you have the opportunity to meet them there too (& authors at comic con most of the times don't have super long ass lines). If there are like some big bookstores in a city nearby follow them too because they host events to and they have like bookclubs and other fun stuff too. Like for instance Amsterdam has a waterstones and an abc and they host events, signings etcetera. Also some websites sell signed copies of books so you can always order them online all though shipping can be a lot so be aware of that. For the Dutch people out there every year in April we have our own big YA event called YalfestNL and follow publishers like Blossom Books (because they host lot of signings). For uk peeps CHECK WATERSTONES because lot of authors tour around the United kingdom. Like holly black, pierce brown, victoria aveyard etcetera have been there. And for the people in the London erea you always have YALC.

It's nice hearing stories about signings, wish I was able to attend more of them. The first ever book I've got signed was via a friend. It's The Rest of Us Just Live Here by Patrick Ness and it says: "To Tihi - Who didn't care enough...", because I couldn't go in person to the signing (although I was literally in the same building, just a couple of stores above).

Book signings are my passion. I have somewhere around 150 signed books but I think my top fangirling moments were Gail Carson Levine and Lois Lowry. Cassie Clare is at the top of my list to meet and get my books signed by!

I started reading History is All You Left Me last night and I'm really enjoying it so far! I'm only about 25 pages in but I can't wait to keep reading! I also really want to do a signed book collection, I think it's a really fun video! Love your videos Emma! <3

So jealous of the Cassie Clare books.I've only met one author I traveld 156 miles to go to a Stephie Meyer signing and 156 miles back home.Waited in line like I've said before for 7 1/2 hours in the sun.So worth it.
