I don't blame you for feeling upset about your experience with AJ Finn. I read a good portion of the article and his "apology" at the end and he seems very fake in a subtley domineering way. Like when someone is smiling at you and you think they are being nice, but really they are thinking about your demise kind of way. Its very unnerving to me. I'm sorry you had contact with someone like that.

I just read that article on A.J. Finn and I am just shocked! I had no idea and I don't even know what to say. I almost bought his book at work but I don't want to support him now.

Such a wonderful collection. I have added a few books to my list to read on goodreads. Also the Tithe series is definitely worth a read. I read them in High School. My best friend Kristina got me into them and also we read the Ugly series together in High School.

Definitely envy your signed collection. The only time we get book signings here in Australia is at a convention called Supanova, and majority of the authors are Australian who we do have come for that. Not that I don't love those authors dearly, and they know me now because see them so often.
But wish we would get a book con convention here in Australia; as we always seem to sadly miss out on things like that.

Funny book signing anecdote: I went to a signing for Kiera Cass for The One, and Kelly Armstrong, Danielle Paige, and Kimberly Derting were also there. Now that I think about it, it was probably an Epic Reads tour. I thought Kimberly Derting's book The Taking sounded interesting, so I bought a copy and had her sign it. She was adamant that she had met me before on one of her other tours (I had not heard of her until that day). She was so sure we had met before, so she signed my book: For Isabella- make every (this was underlined) second count! This was when I was in middle school, but I remember it so vividly because it was kind of bizarre!

Hmm, I have to say this . My respect for you really increased today on how you addressed the A.J.Finn situation. I really loved his book so things like this does put you in a art vs artist situation .
And you talking about it and not ignoring it (because you could have totally done that ) is really impressive , being this 100% transparent.
