He's a very modern genius. People think he speaks "differently" or slower ...thats because he actually thinks before speaking. Were trained not to do that mostly..just blab on about whatever comes to mind. He actually takes the time to think of what he wants to say before speaking, unfortunately a lot of people these days dont do that. He's just next level, but only human. Who cares about the money, this guy is teaching people a lesson.

Perhaps one of the most impressive things about Holzhauer is how media savvy he is. More actually, than most people more familiar with that world. He does not let anyone, including Alex Trebek, dictate his own narrative to him. If someone is going down a track that is misinformed or that he doesn't like, he immediately redirects to his advantage. Perfectly legitimate, and admirable. After all, he's the subject, so he should own his own reality. The media, in general, always tries to put its own words in people's mouths, and most people, though knowing the distortion, are conditioned to this, which has gone on for far too long now, or intimidated by it, give in, and are used and abused. Holzhauer is not only smart, he's a good guy, and he takes no shit.

So much is said about his strategy of taking high dollar value clues first and being quick on the buzzer and risking his whole bank on Daily Doubles. Those are all very true, but he is also incredibly knowledgeable on a vast amount of subjects, way more than his opponents. He has no weaknesses.
