The old woman is one of the premier Soviet composers and pianists: Alexandra Nikolaevna Pakhmutova! An incredible woman. I believe she wrote this song.

When my Granddad (Who served in the soviet airforce) Heard this he literally sang It all and he remembered the whole text. I don't know if It was a famous music in USSR but apparently he knew It from start to finish

A small correction to the video description by the OP, as other commenters have pointed out, "The Battle is Going Again" was composed in 1974 by Alexandra Pakhmutova, with lyrics by her husband Nikolai Dobronravov; while it is a rockin' tune that looks back to the October Revolution, it is assuredly not a 1920s-era Civil War song; it's catchy beat and instrumentation place it solidly in the era of bright-eyed 1970s Soviet agit-Pop.
