Ouuu another tip, there's absolutely nothing wrong with having friends but you should be carful who they are, especially at a critical stage in school, make sure you hang out with people who have your determination, not people who distract you. You might never see those people again but you definitely will have your grades forever

1. do topical questions (questions by topics)
2. for questions you notice coming up a lot, write down the question and its mark scheme on a separate piece of paper and re-read it during revision week
3. do as many topical questions as you can before doing past papers
4. see if you can find any ready made notes before doing them yourself, unless doing notes is the only way you learn
5. write out your corrections from past papers, and your understanding of the questions in a different coloured pen
6. for essay based subjects (and other subjects) read the examiners report
7. make an excel sheet and write down the marks and things you consistently got wrong in past papers. work from the older past papers to the new ones, as the older ones tend to be a little easier
8. focus more on understanding your corrections, rather than doing more past papers. also do more wider reading, rather than only learning from lessons or the textbooks
9. meet your lecturer/teacher as much as possible, take note of things you don't understand and ask them to explain it to you, they may give you extra tips
10. work with your friends, ensure you have a similar style of learning, and you can learn from each others mistakes. Faye and her friend worked on half of the syllabus each and then combined notes to save time.

I took pure science ( physics, chemistry and biology ) and mathematics and sat for my A2 in January session this year. I would always get C and Ds in my mock examinations prior to my exam and all of it was expected because I bunked classes and tests a lot. My mom would scold me a lot and I always begged her to hide my grades from my dad. When there were barely 2 months left for the finals, I realized I was so wrong and everything was messed up just because of me . Whilst having potential to ace the exams, I just chose to be useless and disappoint myself over and over again. So I immersed myself fully into studying. I tried my level best to understand the concepts and use them to answer questions. I solved recent papers analyzed the question papers, followed mark scheme, but still I could not advance my grades in my last mock exams. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed but I didn't give up. I swore to fight hard till the day my A levels end. And then came my finals. I honestly messed up my biology unit 5 exam and organic synthesis in unit 5.... I'd rather not talk about it. Then came the result day, 3rd march . I just prayed for a B in biology and nothing more . AND MY PRAYERS WERE ANSWERED . I got B in biology, A in chemistry, A in mathematics and A+ in physics. I was stupefied after hearing my result. I was blank . I was happy. My parents were in tears for their prayers have been answered too. So folks, it's never too late and do not ever give up. Just try your best and believe in yourself. Work hard and be determined to collect your rewards. ALL THE BEST AND ACE YOUR EXAMS <3
edit : its november 3rd of 2023 . I came across this video randomly again somehow yeah youtube algorithm lol

Thank you for making this video I needed these tips since I’m starting A levels. It’s an even greater help that you did 4 A levels, so I know a way to get good grades without spending all of my hours studying and nothing else

You are just ...inspirational . You are so darn self aware about your faults and the fact that u have no shame in calling yourself a slow learner is just really really admirable . And the way you work so hard and are so dedicated is really amazing to look at . Personally, ive never had to put in much effort into my studies cuz i always understood topics without needing to revise them but once grade 11 came up ....oof...my non existence work ethic became really apparent and your channel (and a bunch of others )really helped the process and all that . So thank you . And good luck with your studies and career cuz have much potential and your work ethic, dedication and skills are just golden

also favorite animal is the snake lol

I really appreciate your tips a lot!! I never really knew how to approach or improve from doing past papers but this cleared it up so much!! Although I'm not taking the A level exams yet but these tips are so practical and I can use them just as well for my O level exams, Thank you Faye!

Congrats on the excellent results! Love the notes, very tidy and worked through! Excellent suggestions as well. Just to add my 2p for Maths (and Further) confidence is very important (Trig is a good example). (Once you've revised) you have the knowledge to solve any question. You need the determination to keep at it. It's actually expected not to be able to see the solution beginning to end before starting and that's intimidating, but little baby steps in what you think is the correct direction will get you there

Very practical tips. I’m glad to find myself practicing many of them!

For humanity and language, examiner’s report is definitely worth reading. For science and maths, mark scheme is the most helpful to get you points.
