Novation LAUNCHKEY mk4 // NEW TEASER!

Novation has "half" released their new trailer for the Launchkey mk4 keyboards. Let's check what's different between mk4 vs mk3 Looking forward to seeing the first reviews of this one.

IMPORTANT OBSERVATION: It looks like even the MINI version now has 4 custom modes, if I am seeing that right.
I think the MINI mk3 had only 1 custom mode, as opposed 4 custom modes on the larger mk3 versions.
So maybe the MINI version will now have all the same features as the larger ones? (apart from the faders on the 49 & 61 of course)

Those are some nice upgrades. Nice to see the screen on the mini version, too. Hopefully, they add all the chord functions to it as well rather than just the fixed chord option. It makes sense to have more chord functions on a compact controller over a larger version anyhow since playing on mini keys is more of a task. I'm not sure why they leave these features out on a mini but include them on a larger device.

Been holding out for a new controller for ages. This looks great but as a V Collection user it’s gonna have to be the Arturia for me… plus it supposedly has a vastly improved keybed

I’d really love to know if I can set the pads to simply change the midi channel sending out. That’s super important to me as someone who runs a multitimbral setup, but it seems hard to find a modern controller that can change the channel simply with a button press

An SL25 mk4 with faders would be great… Never ever done again since SL mk2. They were perfect.

Can you move from one effect to another effect without using the mouse with this controller. You can’t with previous Novation controllers..

Would be interested in a 37 keys with mini keys version. With a keyboard that doesn't suck like the mini.

I really cannot stand the position of the pitch and mod wheel...it's just not comfortable. I use them very much while playing and this is definitely a reason for not buying this products. Also the keybed was a issue for old models, no aftertouch and not so good quality in general, who knows if this mk4 will be better. The step sequencer feature is a big thing but at the end of the day i think this is a product made not exactly for keyboard players.
