In matters of the heart, I’m always reminded of that Twain quote. The one about dancing like no one is watching. ‘Love like you’ve never been hurt before’. Don’t give up on love cuz ya possibly picked the wrong one to get with. Then probably let the unhappiness go on for some time before ending it. Thereby souring one to love. I’m speaking from experience. I’ve chosen some real wieners as partners. My bad. If I were to enter another love relationship, I wouldn’t bring my unresolved pain from prior ones. It’s not fair to yourself or the other person to bring past relationships into a current one. We’re supposed to be living in the moment. Because it’s the only time that is real. The past and future are conceptual only. Cannot recreate the past nor control the future so why go there mentally? Joy can be felt in the moment only. Cannot forecast it. So, our job is to let go of the past in order to move forward in our lives. ✌🏼❤

Here’s the thing about love. People use it like a currency, like it’s money and some gain and some experience loss. But it’s actually free flowing. If you have it set in your mind that because a certain person won’t give you love then you’re heart broken then you’re going to be. But if instead you live your life as if it’s yours and love openly, you’ll realize that ego corrupts the bliss of love. It feels good to love and to be loved and that which is given will be received.
