S1:E1| Sailboat Haul Out at Berkeley Marine Center (Bottom Job)

Показать описание
Since creating this series we’ve learned a lot about the use of the word tribe and we fully respect the cultural significance attached to it and have decided not to use it in our channel name going forward! Much love y’all!
It was time for our first sailboat haul, new bottom job, a couple of new through hulls, replacement of the wet exhaust hose and whatever else we might find to do on our 1988 37.5 Hunter Legend, SV Gone Tomorrow. We hadn't done a sailboat haul out since our survey and had certainly never done a bottom job! On top of that, JD had to fly overseas for work which meant Jen would likely have to put the boat back in the water herself.
All things considered, this sailboat haulout went quite well. We had an absolutely amazing experience at Berkeley Marine Center, BMC, and learned so much while we were doing our bottom job, from the sandpaper to use to the correct bottom paint. We found out that replacing our through hulls not to be as difficult as we expected and we were able to overcome so many other challenges and make some life long friends at Berkeley Marine Center in the process. Thanks Cree & all the rest of the crew. We had a great time doing our sailboat haul out a Berkeley Marine Center and Tight Little Tribe Sailing will definitely be back to BMC for any boat work, bottom job, through hull, bottom paint, fiberglass work, engine work on our diesel, stainless steel welding, rigging, crane work or what ever the hell else we might need. You guys rock!
