I like how they never made Toothlesss "special one" among the Night Fury. He cares for Hiccup, but he will gladly give anybody their own hashtag when he felt the need to. When he first met Hiccup, it wasn't even like, a suprise "oh, this things just misunderstood" moments. He actually hesitated to murk the main character

They did great adapting cat behavior to Toothless, he's cute asf, but still a badass too

I still get chills whenever Hiccup reads the Nightfury description in the first movie. I've never wanted a dragon so bad in my life, if I could go soaring across the skies in what is essentially a giant reptilian cat with wings, I would never be depressed with how amazing that would feel.
