한국 OECD 경기선생지수 31개월 연속 '확장 계속'
Hopeful news for the South Korean economy,… the OECD expects the country's economic recovery to continue for the time being.
According to the OECD, the Composite Leading Indicator for Korea recorded 100-point-seven in April, a six-year high.
The indicator provides early signals of turning points between expansions and slowdowns of economic activity.
A figure above 100 indicates an economy is on an upward trend.
The South Korean government, however is still cautious on such a forecast.
The finance ministry's monthly report on the economy for June said exports are on the rise, but the unemployment rate is still high and household income figures are low.
